This has to be done in sequence with the changing of the tide. You want to catch the end of the outgoing tide for the trip out, and wait for the change for the return. If you attempt to do this otherwise, your going to be in a lot of trouble because the current can reach 6+ knots and sitting in a boat, you can only do 4 knots tops! Perhaps 5 if your scared and trying to escape a White Shark but that still means your going to be on the short end of that race. Total paddle Distance, 5 miles.
